Wellness Matters recognizes that many people with commercial insurance have high deductibles. Unfortunately, our contracts with these companies prohibit discounting patient’s out-of-pocket expenses. If you anticipate difficulty in paying your bill due to a high deductible, Wellness Matters has several payment plan options available.

Debit/Credit Card Information Required

Wellness Matters LLC accepts cash and all major debit/credit cards for co-pays and services. Our HIPPA-compliant health record system securely stores card information for convenient electronic billing. Because both public and private insurance plans include a client co-pay or co-insurance responsibility, all clients are required to enter debit/credit card information for electronic billing purposes.

Self-Pay Clients

Since there are significant administrative savings to Wellness Matters LLC if we don’t have to bill your insurance company, we pass along the cost savings to you if you have insurance  but choose not to use it. Self-pay clients are charged the same day of service

Sliding Fee Discount

No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay for mental health services at Wellness Matters.  We have a discounted/sliding fee schedule available based on family size and income.
The Wellness Matters  Sliding Fee Discount program is used to determine eligibility for discounted services based on family size and income (i.e., at or below 200% of the current Federal Poverty Guidelines).

Qualifying for the Sliding Fee Discount involves completing the Sliding Fee Discount application to include income verification.

Please contact Wellness Matters staff for a Sliding Fee Discount Application if you are uninsured or underinsured and believe that you may qualify for a discount based on household income.
